Professional and Personal Mentorship.

As someone that has only recently began pursuing an interest in business, I am constantly surprised and impressed with the resources CVC has to offer. On top of the experience analyzing interesting markets and interacting with professionals in the field, the kind, patient, and knowledgable members of CVC are always eager to share their advice regarding internships, networking, and life in general. CVC has exceeded my initial expectations for a venture capital club, and I am so excited to see where we go.

Professional:

I have had a wide variety of experiences during high school teaching art at Guanghua Chinese School and taking art commissions. At Guanghua, I created and taught the first art curriculum designed to introduce children to digital art by guiding them through the traditional principles of art. On the side, I have been taking art commissions through online platforms since 2013. I was in charge of planning courses and teaching a classroom of 14 children ages 5-11. This past summer, I was able to intern at Bionex Pharmaceuticals, where I helped conduct experiments, help design protocols by doing background research, manage small-scale studies, and organize and process data from small-scale studies. In addition to interning, I also volunteered with a nursing unit at Doylestown Hospital where I aided in care procedures and was one of the primary people on the floor ensuring patient comfort. In a similar vein, I cared for a child on the autism spectrum and incorporated basic art skills and color theory into her daily routine.

Personal:

In my free time, you can find me on a run, sketching, or cozied up to the latest episode of Black Mirror.
