Learning About VC.

My favorite memory was going to the VCIC competition in North Carolina with four other CVC members. We were able to meet friendly and ambitious students interested in Venture Capital from around the country and learn about the deal process in a short amount of time. Opportunities like this are hard to come by without the resources and dedication of experienced members. I am grateful for the mentorship and team-bonding experiences that are always available at CVC.

Professional:

I am interested in studying the (in)efficiencies of businesses and markets and helping them optimize processes. Last summer I interned in Corporate Strategy and M&A at loanDepot, the fifth largest mortgage originator in the US. I worked on potential external joint ventures as well as the internal expansion of the main business. I also co-founded a fund, Nostradamus Capital, that invests in US stocks and options.

Personal:

Between phone calls with clients, I like to hike and run around Ithaca and take in the natural beauty of upstate New York. I can also be found salsa dancing on occassion.
