Economics '20

CVC is Family.

My favorite memory was when a couple other members and I stayed up late into the night preparing a send-off party for the graduating seniors. We had finals to deal with, and it was hard to stay motivated, but we stuck at it because it was a tradition and the seniors meant a lot to us. It was a long night but we had a lot of fun; that's CVC in a nutshell.

Real Life Impact.

Nothing beats the feeling of getting on a call with a real VC firm, sharing a startup you've researched, and hearing "Oh wow, we've never heard of this. We're gonna have to give them a call." CVC has given me the opportunity to experience what real work in the VC world looks like. In doing so, I have already seen growth in my analytical and critical thinking skills which I've since applied to my life beyond and even done so in some of my classes. Truly a rare on-campus experience!
